Koala Meditation Mist

Inhaling water vapor has been part of healing for the people behind Koala in spiritual, wellness and mental health ways.

The simple practice of inhaling water vapor has been part of almost every human native and indigenous culture, nearly every successful culture, almost every community of collaboration health and wellness, strength, vitality and transparent collaboration between nearly every member of society since the beginning of time.

If we are to succeed, it is because we breathe.

If we are to heal our addiction to technology and our hatred, misunderstanding of each other it because we learn to breathe together. It is because we learn we all breathe the same air in the same way; we all pray in our breath. With breath we all find ourselves. With breath we all find peace with each other to enjoy the short time we have on this planet.

Bringing purity together with knowledge of ancient forests to the cityscapes, we learn that meditation with what we breathe, is the start to center our souls with nature and humanity.

Nobody needs to tell you how toxic, dangerous and unhealthy the modern world is. When this happens we seek our roots and core in nature, breathwork and meditation as practiced since the beginning of time.

No matter what you inhale before or after the meditation, no matter if you are in a city environment, surrounded by cars or work in a casino our goal is to give you the moment of peace your mind needs to reach the full potential of your purpose and mission.

From the Founder

When I was 15 years old, I experienced my first pneumothorax—a collapsed lung. Over 12 to 24 hours, my left lung slowly gave way. It felt like suffocating to death. I did suffocate to death.

It happened again. Twice on my left side. Twice on my right. Once, my right lung collapsed onto my heart’s pericardium.

My dreams of climbing Mount Everest, becoming an Olympic freestyle skier, and just being a normal kid disappeared overnight. Breathing became agony—like hot metal rods driven through my chest with every breath, every second, every day.

But life had other plans. Despite a “uniquely shaped” ribcage, I made it to Everest Base Camp. I built and ran the largest ski and snowboard club in the world. I learned to live what I call “edited dreams”—goals shaped by the awareness of breath and the fragility of life. I learned dreams may be doorways to our true goals. I learned patterned lifestyles are dreamless.

Lying in that hospital bed, I made myself a promise: If I get out of here, I will do everything I can dream of—Weatherman, Comedian, Healer, Business Owner, AI Architect, Writer, CEO, Construction Worker... anything and everything I can imagine.

I climb mountains. I hike for passion. I don’t give up. I’ve fallen, been pushed down, been betrayed and misunderstood—but I always return to my breath.

I know what it means to die and come back. I’ve seen how fragile and sacred each moment is. When breath leaves a person, they discover that peace, understanding, forgiveness, cooperation, kindness, and transparency are what truly matter. Many only realize this truth when it’s too late—when they can no longer take a breath.

It’s my mission to help others remember this now—to support those who seek mindfulness, connection, and compassion. We share this air, this planet, this life with every other being. Our time here is brief. Let’s make it meaningful, peaceful, and kind.

I’ve always wanted to speak openly about my personal experience—to embrace others who know the terror of suffocating to near death, the miracle of coming back, or the heartbreak of losing someone who didn’t.

This year marks 31 years since my first hospitalization. Today, I proudly come forward as a meditation instructor with knowledge of the other side.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist that specializes in Cirque Du Soleil, Olympic Athletes, Professional Performers, High Functioning Individuals at Clear Performance Medicine; I am a breathwork teacher, a founder, and an inventor. I have certificates from Harvard HMX and am passionate about natural alternative indigenous and noninvasive natural ways to support the human body.

I am the founder of Inhale This LLC and the creator of The Koala Meditation Mist—a water-based inhaler and meditation aid designed to bring calm and healing to body and mind.

I’m bring my lifelong passion for respiratory health and wellness to the American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb of which you can support here.

I bring my spiritual practices to the Lakota Inipi {“live again” or “breathe life”} Sweat Lodges and Sundance, Buddhist Meditations, Kung Fu Qi Gong Meditations, Yoga Breathwork Meditations I do regularly.

Please join me. Please support my vision for a word with meditation, a world where we are not afraid to inhale, to exhale, to look up or down, to fall or stand, to forgive, to understand, to be a good person.

I bring my lifelong honor and respect to the animals that were among the beings I was able to trust when I could trust no man, no human, when I lived in a world where breath was not taken for granted, but was understood by the horses, wolves, koalas, lions, deer as something I struggled for; my service animals changed my life. When humans wanted to tear apart my rib cage and use my body for their science, it was the animals that I found could support me in ways no human could. I give back to them in many ways.

I maintain my spiritual practices. I traveled the world working with indigenous wisdom elders.

I offer the most simple opportunity for each and everyone, a meditation to remember we are all just passing through. May we do it with respect and kindness, forgiveness and the chance to grow, become better than we were when we arrived.

“Take a walk—in your neighborhood, a nearby park, or up a hill.
Feel your breath as it moves through you.
Notice your ribcage expand and your hand rise and fall with each exhale.
Think about how your breath connects you to the air, the trees, the plants, and every living thing.
Remember how vital and precious this act of breathing is—something we so often take for granted.
Let this awareness fill you with peace and presence, because one day, we will all take our final breath.
Today, you still have this one. Today, forgive someone and allow them to become better. Trust them. Trust yourself. Believe in a better world than yesterday.”

Thank you being part of this journey, of people like us on this earth at this time.

May we come together in trusting the water, sea and trees we breathe.
